Our Founder

From the vibrant landscapes of Liberia, West Africa, to the bustling community of Charlotte, NC, my journey has been one of resilience, compassion, and a relentless drive to make a difference. I am Cecelia Donyen-Sekle, the heart and soul behind Orseju Foundation, Inc.

My story is rooted in the kindness of strangers that shaped my early life in Liberia. This generosity ignited a deep-seated passion to pay it forward, fueling my ambition to empower underprivileged children in West Africa and support homeless individuals in Charlotte, NC.

At Orseju Foundation, we don’t just address needs – we nurture hopes and dreams. Under my leadership, our approach is defined by heartfelt compassion and a resilient, hands-on methodology.
